Málaga, 4 November 2026.— Málaga-based technology company Internal·IA has presented at the 4th Andalusian Artificial Intelligence Congress, organised by the Andalusian Digital Agency of the Regional Government of Andalusia, an interactive demonstration centre showing how the company has turned artificial intelligence into a new way of reaching information and public services in cities.
During the event, held in Granada on 27 and 28 October, attendees could talk directly to an avatar in natural language. An experience that goes beyond the visual interface: behind it runs technology developed by the company to interpret queries, reach contextualised information and connect with existing data sources and systems.
One intelligence, several channels
Internal·IA’s main proposition is that a single intelligence can serve people across different channels: WhatsApp, including voice messages, web assistants, visual conversational interfaces and intelligent telephone support. The aim is to remove technological barriers and let residents and visitors reach information and services in the most natural way possible.
«For years we built applications so that people could use the systems. Now we are taking the next step: letting them relate to those systems simply by talking. What matters is not that an avatar talks, but everything the technology is able to do behind that conversation.»
Francisco Orellana, CEO of Internal·IA
This vision rests on intelligent conversational assistants such as TuCiudad, aimed at municipalities and tourist destinations; TuFerIA, used at events such as the Málaga Fair; and CareOS, aimed at customer support and business processes. Solutions that combine artificial intelligence, up-to-date information and technological integration to ease the relationship between people and organisations.
Business innovation and university knowledge
The presentation of the demonstration centre coincides with a new step in the company’s innovation strategy: the recent collaboration agreement with the University of Málaga, driven by its Faculty of Tourism, to develop joint research, innovation and training initiatives.
The collaboration seeks to bring together the university’s knowledge of one of the main economic engines of Málaga and the Costa del Sol with Internal·IA’s business and technological experience, exploring new artificial-intelligence applications for visitors, residents and destination managers.
Speaking at the Congress
The company also took part in the Congress as a speaker. Francisco Orellana joined the panel “AI at the service of people. Transforming lives”, where he showed the demonstration centre’s conversational avatar and shared his view on the need to move artificial intelligence from technology demos to practical application in society.
Internal·IA was also one of the Andalusian companies selected by the Andalusian Digital Agency to present its technology at Open Innovation Gates 2026, before a committee of public-administration and business leaders. The company brought the demonstration centre to work there: a single conversational intelligence that understands a person’s question, queries the city’s sources at that moment and answers on whichever channel that person has chosen.
Internal·IA, backed by a technology track record that began in 2002 with Internalia Group, is committed to a model of artificial intelligence able to build on the systems that administrations and companies already use, adding new ways of interacting without replacing their technological infrastructure.
The goal: for artificial intelligence not to be yet another digital service to learn, but a simple and accessible way of relating to the data, services and information that already exist.
